1. 그가 뿜어내는 불결한 물질들은 나의 폐와 혈류 속으로 흘러 들어오게 된다.

His foul emanations find their way into my lungs and bloodstream.

2. 근친 상간, 간음 및 수간 등 도덕적으로 불결한 행실은 사형에 해당하는 죄로서 금지되어 있었다.

Forbidden on pain of death were such morally unclean practices as incest, adultery and bestiality.

3. 여호와께서는 성적 부도덕을 행하고 불결한 숭배에 참여하는 자들에게 책임을 물으실 것입니다.—호세아 1:4.

Jehovah will hold an accounting with those who practice sexual immorality and carry on unclean worship. —Hosea 1:4.

4. 각 오두막은 진흙 기와 지붕 아래 불결한 바닥과, 목조 틀에 흙과 쇠똥을 발라 만든 벽으로 이루어져 있다.

7. 일년에 2천 5백만명이 오염된 물과 불결한 위생 시설로 인한 병으로 죽는다. 그러나 그러한 사람들에게 깨끗한 물을 공급하는 것이 어려운 일은 아닐 것이다.

Twenty-five million people a year die from sickness caused by polluted water and poor sanitation.

8. (이전의 생활 배경과는 관계없이, 어떤 사람들이 이전의 불결한 행위를 버리고 여호와의 의로운 표준을 적용하며 그리스도를 통한 속죄 마련에 대해 믿음을 나타낸다면, 그들은 하느님 앞에 깨끗한 신분을 누릴 수 있다.

(Regardless of such a background, if persons now abandon their former unclean practices, apply Jehovah’s righteous standards, and exercise faith in his provision for forgiveness of sins through Christ, they can enjoy a clean standing before God.
