80. * We welcome the entry into force in July 2009, of the Africa Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Treaty (the Pelindaba Treaty) of 1995 and the efforts towards the operationalisation of the African Commission on Nuclear Energy (ACNE) in November 2010, which, among others, will promote the peaceful application of nuclear energy and technology within Member States.

* हम वर्ष 1995 की अफ्रीका परमाणु शस्त्र मुक्त क्षेत्र संधि (पेलिनडावा संधि) को जुलाई, 2009 में लागू किए जाने और नवंबर, 2010 में परमाणु ऊर्जा से संबद्ध अफ्रीकी आयोग द्वारा कार्य आंरभ किए जाने का स्वागत करते हैं जिसके फलस्वरूप सदस्य देशों के बीच परमाणु ऊर्जा और प्रौद्योगिकी के शांतिपूर्ण अनुप्रयोग को बढ़ावा मिल सकेगा।
