इस संदर्भ में उन्होंने लागत प्रभावी बिजली उत्पन्न करने की परियोजना की आवश्यकता; फ्रांसीसी पक्ष से आर्थिक और प्रतिस्पर्धी वित्तपोषण पैकेज; जैतापुर परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्रों के जीवनकाल के लिए गारंटीकृत ईंधन आपूर्ति का विश्वसनीय, निर्बाध और निरंतर उपयोगऔर प्रौद्योगिकी के हस्तांतरण और भारत में विनिर्माण के लागत प्रभावी स्थानीयकरण प्रयासों पर सहयोगपर बल दिया।

71. A legislation was thought necessary to reduce the number of accidents , to mitigate the effect of accidents by provision of suitable medical treatment and to provide for cheaper and quicker disposal of claims relating to compensation through specialised Tribunals than was possible under the civil courts .

दुर्घटनाओं की संख्या में कमी लाने , उचित चिकित्सा की व्यवस्था करने , दुर्घटना के दुष्प्रभाव को कम करने और सिविल न्यायालयों की तुलना में , प्रतिकर के दावों के कम खर्च में तथा त्वरित निपटारे के लिए , विशेष अधिकरण गठित करने के लिए इस तरह की विधि बनाने की आवश्यकता अनुभव की गई .

72. ii. As a first step in designing the PSP, the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) was engaged for studying the existing system of Passport issuance in India and the global best practices and for making suitable recommendations on establishing a redesigned system that could fulfill the aforesaid objective.

(ii) पीएसपी डिजाइन करने के प्रथम चरण के रूप में भारत में पासपोर्ट प्रचालन की मौजूदा प्रणाली के अध्ययन के लिए तथा पुनर्डिजाइन की गयी प्रणाली स्थापित करने पर उपयुक्त सिफारिश किए जाने के लिए एवं विश्व के सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभ्यास के लिए नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर स्मार्ट गवर्नमेंट को शामिल किया गया, जिससे उल्लखित उद्देश्यों को पूरा किया जा सके।

73. * A part of the celebratory events being organised to commemorate the silver jubilee of ASEAN-India dialogue partnership, the AICS aims to accelerate existing connectivity prospects; identify issues of concern, evolve suitable policy recommendations and develop strategies to enhance economic, industrial and trade relations between ASEAN and India.

* आसियान-भारत वार्ता साझेदारी की रजत जयंती मनाने के लिए आयोजित किए जाने वाले समारोहों के एक हिस्से के रूप में, एआईसीई का उद्देश्य संपर्क की मौजूदा संभावनाओं को तेज करना,गंभीर मुद्दों की पहचान करना, आसियान और भारत के बीच आर्थिक, औद्योगिक और व्यापार संबंधों को बढ़ाने के लिए उपयुक्त नीति सिफारिशों और रणनीति का विकास करना है।

74. Indian assistance was sought for (a) establishing a National Centre for Research in Animal Diseases (Pandemics) in Mongolia; (b) acclimatization of high-yielding and fast-ripening varieties of crops/plants suitable for the Mongolian climatic conditions; (c) water harvesting and construction of dams; (d) biotechnology; and (e) development of the Mongolian dairy sector.

(ख) मंगोलियाई जलवायु स्थितियों के लिए उपयुक्त फसलों/पौधों का उच्च उत्पादन एवं शीघ्र पकने वाली किस्मों के लिए उपयुक्त स्थितियां उपलब्ध कराना; (ग) जल संरक्षण तथा बांधों का निर्माण; (घ) जैव-प्रौद्योगिकी; और (ङ) मंगोलियाई डेयरी सेक्टर का विकास।

75. " The vessels engaged for this operation are termed as ' skimmers ' . Absorbents like sawdust are spread over the oil slicks , and after a certain time the absorbents along with the oil are removed . Sometimes oil - eating microbes are sprayed over the area which in due course degrade the oil . Sinking is another fruitful measure , in which powdered or fine granular solids of high density are sprayed over the oil patch so as to mix with the oil , adhere to it and sink it . The most satisfactory method at present available is to disperse or emulsify the oil with suitable dispersing or emulsifying agents .
