Assistance provided through the scheme has enabled the Indian women, to meet legal costs such as documentation and preparatory work for filing a case against the overseas Indian spouse and other aspects of judicial proceedings; to avail counseling and, in some cases for financial support for sustenance, accommodation, etc.

इस योजना के माध्यम से भारतीय महिलाओं को विधिक लागत जैसे विदेशी भारतीय पतियों के विरुद्ध मुकदमा दायर करने के लिए दस्तावेज तथा प्रारंभिक कार्य तथा न्यायिक कार्यवाही के अन्य पहलुओं, कौंसुली सहायता प्राप्त करने में और कुछ मामलों में संपोषण, आवास आदि के लिए वित्तीय सहयोग में सहायता मिलती है।

• तथापि, भारत सरकार के संप्रतीक और नाम (अनुचित प्रयोग निवारण) अधिनियम, 1950 और राष्ट्रगौरव अपमान निवारण अधिनियम, 1971 (अनुच्छेद 2) तथा भारत झंडा संहिता 2002, के अनुसार भारत में अपनी वाणिज्यिक गतिविधियां चलाने वाले ऐसे ई-कॉमर्स पोर्टलों के विरूद्ध भारतीय दंड संहिता, 2002 के अनुसार कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की जा सकती है।

In order to further improve and liberalize Police Verification procedure for passport issuance, the Ministry announced on 25 January, 2016 that normal passport applications of all first time applicants furnishing Aadhaar, Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC), Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card and an affidavit in the prescribed format that no criminal proceedings were pending against the applicant will be processed on Post-Police Verification basis, enabling faster issue of passport, without payment of any additional fees.

पासपोर्ट जारी करने हेतु पुलिस जांच प्रक्रिया में सुधार करने तथा इसे अधिक उदार बनाने के लिए मंत्रालय ने 25 जनवरी, 2016 को घोषणा की है कि पहली बार सामान्य पासपोर्ट हेतु आवेदन करने वाले जिन आवेदकों ने आधार कार्ड, मतदाता फोटो पहचानपत्र, स्थायी लेखा संख्या (पीएएन) कार्ड और निर्धारित प्रपत्र में यह शपथपत्र दिया हो कि उस आवेदक के विरुद्ध कोई भी आपराधिक कार्यवाही लंबित नहीं है, उनके आवेदन पर पुलिस द्वारा बाद में सत्यापन किए जाने के आधार पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी, जिससे पासपोर्ट जारी करने की प्रक्रिया में तेजी आएगी तथा इसके लिए कोई अतिरिक्त शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा।

In the field of transport, the Leaders look forward to cooperating in areas such as modernization of the Railways and in high speed and semi-high speed rail projects, in urban transportation and in roads and welcomed the development of the cooperation between Indian and French railways through the agreement between Indian Railways and the French National Railways (SNCF) to co-finance an execution study by SNCF for a semi-high speed project on upgradation of the Delhi-Chandigarh line to 200 kmph and for redevelopment of Ambala & Ludhiana Railways Stations.

परिवहन के क्षेत्र में, दोनों नेताओं ने अनेक क्षेत्रों में सहयोग की उम्मीद व्यक्त की जैसे कि रेलवे का आधुनिकीकरण तथा हाई स्पीड एवं सेमी हाई स्पीड रेल परियोजनाएं, शहरी परिवहन एवं सड़क आदि तथा भारतीय रेल एवं फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रीय रेल (एस एन सी एफ) के बीच करार के माध्यम से भारत और फ्रांस की रेल के बीच सहयोग के विकास का स्वागत किया जिसका उद्देश्य 200 किमी प्रति घंटे की गति से दिल्ली - चंडीगढ़ लाइन के उन्नयन पर एक सेमी हाई स्पीड परियोजना के लिए और अंबाला एवं लुधियाना रेलवे स्टेशन के जीर्णोद्धार के लिए एस एन सी एफ द्वारा एक निष्पादन अध्ययन को संयुक्त रूप से वित्त पोषित करना है।
