39. * I am happy to note that the Fourth ASEAN-India Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry, held on 12th January 2018 reviewed the ASEAN-India Medium Term Action Plan 2016-2020 and agreed on a number of cooperative activities.

12. मुझे यह जानकर खुशी हो रही है कि 12 जनवरी 2018 को आयोजित कृषि और वानिकी मंत्रियों की चौथी आसियान-भारत बैठक ने आसियान-भारत मध्यम अवधि कार्य योजना 2016-2020 की समीक्षा की और कई सहकारी गतिविधियों पर सहमति व्यक्त की।

40. Water is a very sensitive subject in both our countries. But we have shown that, in a spirit of friendship and mutual accommodation, we can agree on cooperative arrangements based on the principles of equity, fair play and no harm to either party.

42. In my last 9 years in office as Prime Minister, I have worked closely with Chinese leaders to establish a Strategic and Cooperative Partnership and put in place comprehensive mechanisms for cooperation and dialogue and to address bilateral issues between our two countries.

43. One is the Report of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Kyoto Protocol and we also have a Report of the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Long-Term Cooperative Action which is essentially the elaboration of the Bali Action Plan.

पहला, क्योतो प्रोतोकोल से संबद्ध तदर्थ कार्यकारी दल की रिपोर्ट और दूसरा, दीर्घावधिक सहकारी कार्रवाइयों से संबद्ध तदर्थ कार्यकारी दल के अध्यक्ष की रिपोर्ट , जो अनिवार्य रूप से बाली कार्य योजना का बृहत्तर रूप है।

44. * We urge the international community to address the challenge of climate change through long term cooperative action in accordance with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and its Kyoto Protocol, especially the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.

45. * The two sides acknowledged the on-going cooperative civil activities in the field of space between Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and look forward to enhanced cooperation in such areas as Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation, Space Science and Planetary Exploration.

46. I understand that there will be a report from the Chairman of the Ad-Hoc Working Group on Long Term Cooperative Action, which will put together the various non- papers on specific elements of the Bali Action Plan, as they would have culminated at the end of the day.

The two sides decided to enhance strategic communication, advance functional cooperation, /broaden cultural exchanges, and deepen and enrich the India-China Strategic and Cooperative Partnership for Peace and Prosperity on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence, mutual respect and sensitivity for each other's concerns and aspirations.

Addressing a large public meeting at Burnpur after dedicating to the Nation the 2.5 MT modernized and expanded IISCO steel plant at Burnpur, the Prime Minister mentioned various instances of cooperative federalism of recent months, including the setting up of the NITI Aayog, and the devolution of additional revenues to the States through acceptance of the recommendations of the 14th Finance Commission.

बर्नपुर में 2.5 मीट्रिक टन के आईआईएससीओ (इस्को) इस्पात संयंत्र को राष्ट्र को समर्पित करने के बाद, एक व्यापक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने एनआईटीआई आयोग की स्थापना और 14वें वित्त आयोग की सिफारिशों की स्वीकृति के माध्यम से राज्यों को अतिरिक्त राजस्व के हस्तांरण सहित हाल के महीनों में सहयोगी संघवाद के विभिन्न उदाहरणों का उल्लेख किया।
