1. 68 Behold, at my rebuke I adry up the sea.

68 보라, 내가 내 꾸짖음으로 바다를 ᄀ마르게 하느니라.

2. Behold, has he not set a good example for thee?”

보라, 그가 네게 좋은 본을 보이지 아니하였느냐?”(

3. 35 And behold, this is not yet, but aby and by.

35 보라, 이 일은 아직은 아니나 곧 있으리라.

4. His own eyes behold, his own beaming eyes examine the sons of men.”

“여호와의 보좌는 하늘에 있음이여 그 눈이 인생을 통촉하시고 그 안목이 저희를 감찰하시도다.”

5. 19 And behold, O Lord, in them there is no light; whither shall we steer?

19 그러나 주여, 보소서, 그 안에 빛이 없나이다. 어디로 우리가 방향을 돌려야 하오리이까?

6. Come, you people, behold the activities of Jehovah, how he has set astonishing events on the earth.

“우리가 서로 사랑해야 합니다. 가인과 같이 되지 마시오.

“너희는 와서 여호와께서 하시는 일들을 보아라.

8. True Christians do not ‘shut the door of their tender compassions’ when they ‘behold their brother having need.’

참 그리스도인들은 ‘자기 형제가 궁핍한 것을 보고도 부드러운 동정심의 문을 닫’지 않습니다.

9. 27 Behold, O God, they acry unto thee, and yet their hearts are swallowed up in their pride.

27 하나님이시여, 보시옵소서, 그들이 주께 ᄀ부르짖사오나, 그들의 마음은 그들의 교만 속에 삼키웠나이다.

17 그러나 암몬이 나서서 그에게 이르되, 보소서, 당신 아들을 죽이지 마소서. 그러나 당신보다 그가 쓰러지는 것이 ᄀ나으리니, 이는 보소서, 그는 이미 자기의 죄를 ᄂ회개하였음이라. 그러나 이때 만일 당신이 노한 가운데 쓰러지면, 당신의 영혼은 구원받지 못하리이다.

12. 40 Behold, ye are little children and ye cannot abear all things now; ye must bgrow in cgrace and in the knowledge of the truth.

40 보라, 너희는 어린아이라 지금은 모든 것을 ᄀ감당할 수 없나니, 너희는 ᄂ은혜로 또 ᄃ진리의 지식으로 ᄅ자라야만 하느니라.

13. 18 And upon the plates of Nephi I did make a full account of all the wickedness and abominations; but upon athese plates I did forbear to make a full account of their wickedness and abominations, for behold, a continual scene of wickedness and abominations has been before mine eyes ever since I have been sufficient to behold the ways of man.

18 그리고 니파이의 판에는 모든 간악함과 가증함을 전부 기술하였으나, 이 ᄀ판에는 그들의 간악함과 가증함을 전부 기술하기를 삼갔노니, 이는 보라, 내가 족히 사람의 길을 볼 수 있게 된 이래로 끊임없는 간악함과 가증함의 광경이 내 목전에 있어 왔음이라.

14. 22 And twice were they cast into a aden of wild beasts; and behold they did play with the beasts as a child with a suckling lamb, and received no harm.

22 또 두 번 그들이 들짐승의 ᄀ굴에 던지웠으나, 보라, 그들이 짐승들과 장난하기를 어린아이가 젖먹는 어린 양과 장난함같이 하고, 아무 해를 받지 아니하였느니라.

15. 19 For behold, the same that ajudgeth brashly shall be judged rashly again; for according to his works shall his wages be; therefore, he that smiteth shall be smitten again, of the Lord.

19 이는 보라, 성급하게 ᄀ판단하는 자는 도로 성급하게 판단을 받을 것임이니, 이는 저의 행위를 따라 저의 삯이 있을 것임이라. 그러므로 치는 자는 주께로 말미암아 도로 침을 입으리로다.

16. 15 But behold I said unto them that: aAs the Lord liveth, and as we live, we will not go down unto our father in the wilderness until we have baccomplished the thing which the Lord hath commanded us.

15 그러나 보라 내가 그들에게 이르기를, 주께서 살아 계시고 우리가 살아 있음같이 주께서 우리에게 명하신 일을 우리가 이루기까지는, 우리가 광야에 계신 우리 아버지께로 내려가지 아니할 것이라.

17. 23 Behold, I am he of whom Moses spake, saying: aA prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 보라, 나는 모세가 일러 이르되, 주 너희 하나님께서 나와 같은 ᄀ선지자 하나를 너희 형제 중에서 너희를 위하여 일으키시리니, 무엇이든지 그가 너희에게 이르는 모든 일에 너희는 그를 들을지니라.

18. 26 And he lifted up his voice to heaven, and acried, saying: O, how long, O Lord, wilt thou suffer that thy servants shall dwell here below in the flesh, to behold such gross wickedness among the children of men?

26 이에 그가 하늘로 그 목소리를 높여, ᄀ부르짖어 이르되, 주여, 어느 때까지 주의 종들이 육체로 이 아래에 거하면서, 사람의 자녀들 가운데서 이토록 큰 간악함을 보게 하시려나이까?

19. 6 But behold, it was appointed unto man to adie—therefore, as they were cut off from the tree of life they should be cut off from the face of the earth—and man became blost forever, yea, they became cfallen man.

6 그러나 보라, 사람은 ᄀ죽기로 정해졌고—그러므로 그들은 생명나무로부터 끊어졌던 것같이 지면으로부터 끊어져야 하느니라—이에 사람은 영원히 잃은 바 되었나니, 참으로 그들은 ᄂ타락한 사람이 되었느니라.

20. “And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.

“보라 그는 시험을 받으며 육신의 고통과 주림과 갈증을 겪으며, 이러함으로 기력이 진하시리니, 죽음은 아닐망정 이토록 인간이 감당치 못할 온갖 고난을 겪으시어, 보라 주의 백성들의 간악함과 가증함으로 인한 큰 고뇌로 하여 온몸의 땀구멍에서 피가 흘러 나오리라.

21. 42 But, behold, I say unto you that I, the Lord God, gave unto Adam and unto his seed, that they should not adie as to the temporal death, until I, the Lord God, should send forth bangels to declare unto them crepentance and dredemption, through faith on the name of mine eOnly Begotten Son.

42 그러나 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 나 주 하나님은 아담과 그 씨에게 나의 ᄀ독생자의 이름을 믿는 신앙을 통한 ᄂ회개와 ᄃ구속을 그들에게 선포하도록 나 주 하나님이 ᄅ천사들을 보낼 때까지 그들이 현세적 사망으로 ᄆ죽지 않게 하였느니라.

22. 8 And behold, the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah, and the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno, all these have I caused to be sunk, and made ahills and valleys in the places thereof; and the inhabitants thereof have I bburied up in the depths of the earth, to hide their wickedness and abominations from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints should not come up any more unto me against them.

8 또 보라, 개디앤다이 성과 개디옴나 성과 야곱 성과 김김노 성 이 모두를 내가 가라앉게 하고, 그 자리에 작은 ᄀ산들과 골짜기들을 만들었으며, 그 주민들을 내가 땅 속 깊이 묻어 버려, 내 면전에서 그의 간악함과 가증함을 가리워서 선지자들과 성도들의 피가 다시는 그들을 쳐서 내게로 올라오지 않게 하였노라.
