16. The white blossoms of an almond tree are a beauty to behold, but the beauty of a victory over God’s enemies was even more beautiful.

बादाम के पेड़ की सफ़ेद कलियाँ देखने में बहुत ही सुन्दर हैं, लेकिन परमेश्वर के शत्रुओं पर पायी विजय की खूबसूरती और भी सुन्दर थी।

17. 17 But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and abominations they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of Hosts.

17 लेकिन देखो, यदि पृथ्वी के निवासी अपनी दुष्टता और घृणित कार्यों से पश्चाताप करेंगे वे नष्ट नहीं किये जाएंगे, सेनाओं का प्रभु कहता है ।

18. 18 And upon the plates of Nephi I did make a full account of all the wickedness and abominations; but upon athese plates I did forbear to make a full account of their wickedness and abominations, for behold, a continual scene of wickedness and abominations has been before mine eyes ever since I have been sufficient to behold the ways of man.

19. 1 aFor behold, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem, and from Judah, the stay and the staff, the whole staff of bread, and the whole stay of water—

20. 2 But behold, there were no wild beasts nor agame in those lands which had been deserted by the Nephites, and there was no game for the robbers save it were in the wilderness.

2 परन्तु देखो, जिन स्थानों को नफाइयों ने उजाड़ दिया था उन स्थानों पर न तो जंगली पशु थे और न ही कोई शिकार, और निर्जन प्रदेश के अलावा डाकुओं के लिए कहीं शिकार नहीं था ।

21. 19 For behold, the same that ajudgeth brashly shall be judged rashly again; for according to his works shall his wages be; therefore, he that smiteth shall be smitten again, of the Lord.

19 क्योंकि देखो, वह जो उतावलेपन से न्याय करता है उसका न्याय भी उतावलेपन से ही किया जाएगा; क्योंकि उसकी मजदूरी उसके कार्य के अनुसार ही होगी; इसलिए, वह जो दंड देता है उसे प्रभु से दंड ही मिलेगा ।

22. 18 Behold, he was a man like unto aAmmon, the son of Mosiah, yea, and even the other sons of Mosiah, yea, and also Alma and his sons, for they were all men of God.

26. 21 And he cometh into the world that he may asave all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the bpains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of cAdam.

28. 20 And it came to pass that there was a man among them whose name was aAbinadi; and he went forth among them, and began to prophesy, saying: Behold, thus saith the Lord, and thus hath he commanded me, saying, Go forth, and say unto this people, thus saith the Lord—Wo be unto this people, for I have seen their abominations, and their wickedness, and their whoredoms; and except they repent I will bvisit them in mine anger.

20 और ऐसा हुआ कि उनके बीच एक पुरुष था जिसका नाम अबिनादी था; और वह उनके बीच आगे बढ़ा, और यह कहते हुए भविष्यवाणी करने लगा: देखो, प्रभु इस प्रकार कहता है, और उसने मुझे ऐसा कहकर आज्ञा दी है, आगे बढ़ो, और इन लोगों से कहो, प्रभु इस प्रकार कहता है—हाय इन लोगों पर, क्योंकि मैंने इनके घृणित कार्यों को, और इनकी दुष्टता को, और इनके व्यभिचार को देखा है; और जब तक ये पश्चाताप नहीं करते मैंने अपने क्रोध में इनके पास आऊंगा ।

29. 8 And behold, the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah, and the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno, all these have I caused to be sunk, and made ahills and valleys in the places thereof; and the inhabitants thereof have I bburied up in the depths of the earth, to hide their wickedness and abominations from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints should not come up any more unto me against them.

30. 1 Now we will return in our record to Amalickiah and those who had afled with him into the wilderness; for, behold, he had taken those who went with him, and went up in the bland of Nephi among the Lamanites, and did cstir up the Lamanites to anger against the people of Nephi, insomuch that the king of the Lamanites sent a proclamation throughout all his land, among all his people, that they should gather themselves together again to go to battle against the Nephites.
