1. In addition, the Trade-in-Services Agreement has entered into force for Viet Nam and will do so for Lao PDR from 15 September 2015.

4. The effort was in many ways successful, despite efforts by the Royal Lao Government to place the sangha under close civil administrative control and to enlist monks in development and refugee assistance programs.

रॉयल लाओ सरकार द्वारा निकट नागरिक प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण के तहत संघ को रखने और विकास और शरणार्थी सहायता कार्यक्रमों में भिक्षुओं को शामिल करने के प्रयासों के बावजूद प्रयास सफल तरीके से सफल रहा।

5. The Lao side agreed that hydro-power, mining, agriculture, construction, road and railway network, transportation, information technology and e-governance, steel making, small and medium enterprises offer considerable opportunities to Indian investors and agreed to make every effort to encourage Indian investors to enter into these areas of economic activity.

लाओ पक्ष इस बात पर सहमत हुआ कि जल विद्युत, खनन, कृषि, निर्माण, सड़क और रेलवे नेटवर्क, परिवहन, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी तथा ई-शासन, इस्पात निर्माण, लघु एवं मंझोले उपक्रम भारतीय निवेशकों को पर्याप्त अवसर उपलब्ध कराते हैं और वे आर्थिक क्रियाकलाप के इन क्षेत्रों में प्रवेश करने हेतु भारतीय निवेशकों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सहमत हुए।

6. (a) & (b) Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between sixteen countries namely the 10 countries of ASEAN (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) and their 6 FTA partners (also known as AFP’s or ASEAN FTA Partners) namely India, Australia, China, Japan, Korea and New Zealand.

(क) और (ख) क्षेत्रीय व्यापक आर्थिक भागीदारी (आरसीईपी) 16 देशों के बीच एक प्रस्तावित मुक्त व्यापार करार (एफटीए) है जिसमें आसियान के 10 देश (ब्रुनेई, कंबोडिया, इंडोनेशिया, लाओ, मलेशिया, म्यामांर, फिलीपींस, सिंगापुर, थाईलैंड तथा वियतनाम) और उनके भारत, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, चीन, जापान, कोरिया तथा न्यूजीलैंड जैसे छह एफटीए सहभागी देश (जो एएफपी अथवा आसियान एफटीए भागीदार के नाम से जाने जाते हैं) शामिल हैं।
