(2) Die Union hat es auf das Schärfste verurteilt, dass an verschiedenen Orten in Syrien friedliche Proteste gewaltsam – auch unter Einsatz von scharfer Munition – unterdrückt worden sind, wobei mehrere Demonstranten getötet und weitere Personen verwundet oder willkürlich verhaftet worden sind, und hat die syrischen Sicherheitskräfte aufgefordert, Zurückhaltung zu wahren, statt Unterdrückung auszuüben.

(2) The Union strongly condemned the violent repression, including through the use of live ammunition, of peaceful protest in various locations across Syria resulting in the death of several demonstrators, wounded persons and arbitrary detentions, and called on the Syrian security forces to exercise restraint instead of repression.

12. Als sie die Verschlechterung der Stimmung verzeichneten, veröffentlichen die Abgeordneten Raseta, Ravoahangy und Rabemananjara am 27. März 1947 eine gemeinsame Erklärung, in der sie die Öffentlichkeit aufforderten Ruhe zu bewahren, angesichts des Taktierens und der Provokationen, die dazu bestimmt seien, Probleme innerhalb der madagassischen Bevölkerung zu schüren und die friedliche Politik des MDRM zu sabotieren.

Sensing the worsening mood in the country, on 27 March 1947 deputies Raseta, Ravoahangy and Rabemananjara jointly issued a statement, urging the public to "maintain absolute calm and coolness in the face of manoeuvrings and provocations of all kind destined to stir up troubles among the Malagasy population and to sabotage the peaceful policy of the MDRM."

Oktober 2004 in Belarus direkt verantwortlich sind, und auf jene, die für schwere Menschenrechtsverletzungen beim Vorgehen gegen friedliche Demonstranten im Anschluss an die Wahlen und das Referendum in Belarus die Verantwortung tragen, ausgedehnt werden.

The scope of the restrictive measures imposed by Common Position 2004/661/CFSP should therefore be expanded to persons who are directly responsible for the fraudulent elections and referendum in Belarus on 17 October 2004 and those who are responsible for severe human rights violations in the repression of peaceful demonstrators in the aftermath of the elections and referendum in Belarus.
