First-century Christians apparently did not make a major point of record-keeping, and an overseer today need not be an expert accountant or clerk.

3. 당신은 하나님을 모르는 사람, 그리고 그리스도교를 천직으로 삼지 않는 사람과는 그의 도덕상의 생활이 어떠하든지 간에 세상적인 일의 거래를 할 수 있다. 그러나 그리스도인이라고 공언하면서 자기의 행동으로 불명예를 돌리고 있는 사람은 그 정도로도 인정해서는 안 된다.

You may transact your worldly concerns with a person that knows not God, and makes no profession of Christianity, whatever his moral character may be; but, ye must not even thus far acknowledge a man professing Christianity, who is scandalous in his conduct.
