1. Wherefore art thou in the day of evil? "

4. 13 Wherefore, Omer was restored again to the aland of his inheritance.

5. Wherefore thy duty is unto the church forever, and this because of thy family.

Vậy nên, hắn bảo anh ấy rằng: Này, ngươi là kẻ cướp, ta sẽ giết ngươi.

8. 19 Wherefore, by this pattern ye shall aknow the spirits in all cases under the whole heavens.

19 Vậy nên, qua mẫu mực này các ngươi sẽ anhận biết được các linh trong mọi trường hợp dưới gầm trời này.

9. Wherefore he says: ‘When he ascended on high he carried away captives; he gave gifts in men.’

Vậy nên có chép rằng: Ngài đã lên nơi cao, dẫn muôn vàn kẻ phu tù, và ban những người được ban cho.

10. And it came to pass that Kim did anot reign in righteousness, wherefore he was not favored of the Lord.

Và chuyện rằng, Kim không trị vì trong sự ngay chính, vậy nên hắn không được Chúa ưu đãi.

11. Wherefore they did go into the land southward, to hunt food for the people of the land, for the land was covered with animals of the forest.

Vậy nên, dân chúng đi xuống xứ miền nam để săn thú đem về làm lương thực cho dân trong xứ, vì xứ ấy đầy rẫy thú rừng.

12. 5 Wherefore, if you shall build up my achurch, upon the foundation of my gospel and my brock, the cgates of hell shall not prevail against you.

5 Vậy nên, nếu ngươi sẽ xây dựng giáo hội ta trên nền móng của phúc âm của ta và trên đá của ta, thì các cổng ngục giới sẽ không thắng được ngươi.

13. 4 Wherefore, it is wisdom that the land should be apurchased by the saints, and also every tract lying westward, even unto the line running directly bbetween Jew and Gentile;

4 Vậy nên, điều khôn ngoan là miếng đất này cần phải được các thánh hữu amua và mọi vùng đất phía tây, mãi tới ranh giới phân chia bdân Do Thái với Dân Ngoại;

14. And notwithstanding they have been carried away they shall return again, and possess the land of Jerusalem; wherefore, they shall be brestored again to the cland of their inheritance.

Và dù họ có bị bắt đem đi, thì sau này họ cũng sẽ trở về, và chiếm hữu lại xứ Giê Ru Sa Lem; vậy nên, họ sẽ được aphục hồi lại trên đất thừa hưởng của mình.

15. “Wherefore, I command you again to repent, ... and that you confess your sins, lest you suffer these punishments of which I have spoken” (D&C 19:15–17, 20).

“Vậy nên một lần nữa, ta truyền lệnh cho ngươi phải hối cải, ... và rằng ngươi phải thú nhận những tội lỗi của mình, kẻo ngươi phải chịu những hình phạt mà ta đã nói tới” (GLGƯ 19:15–17, 20).

16. 1 And it came to pass that the Lord commanded me, wherefore I did make plates of ore that I might engraven upon them the arecord of my people.

1 Và chuyện rằng, vì Chúa truyền lệnh nên tôi phải làm những bảng bằng kim khoáng để tôi có thể ghi khắc lịch sử dân tôi lên trên đó.

17. 5 Wherefore, be faithful; stand in the office which I have appointed unto you; asuccor the bweak, lift up the hands which hang down, and cstrengthen the dfeeble knees.

5 Vậy nên, hãy trung thành; hãy đứng vững trong chức vụ mà ta đã chỉ định cho ngươi; hãy acứu giúp kẻ yếu, nâng đỡ những bàn tay rũ rượi, và làm bvững mạnh cnhững đầu gối suy nhược.

18. 4 Wherefore, the Lord hath commanded me that thou and thy brothers should go unto the house of Laban, and seek the records, and bring them down hither into the wilderness.

4 Vậy nên, Chúa đã truyền lệnh cho cha rằng, con cùng các anh con phải đi đến nhà La Ban tìm các biên sử ấy đem xuống vùng hoang dã.

19. 23 And the ascent thereof went forth upon the face of the land, even upon all the face of the land; wherefore the people became troubled by day and by night, because of the scent thereof.

23 Và mùi hôi thúi xông lên khắp nơi, đến nỗi nó lan tràn khắp xứ; vậy nên, dân chúng rất khổ sở đêm ngày vì mùi xú uế đó.

20. 7 Wherefore he did obtain all his fine work, yea, even his fine agold he did cause to be refined in prison; and all manner of fine bworkmanship he did cause to be wrought in prison.

7 Vậy nên hắn thu được tất cả các công trình tuyệt xảo, phải, ngay cả vàng ròng hắn cũng bắt nhà tù phải gạn lọc lại cho tinh khiết hơn, và hắn còn sai làm đủ mọi vật quý giá khác trong nhà tù.

21. “Wherefore, let us go to and labor with our might this last time, for behold the end draweth nigh, and this is for the last time that I shall prune my vineyard” (Jacob 5:61–62).

“Vậy nên, chúng ta hãy đi và làm việc tận lực một lần chót, vì này, sự cuối cùng đã gần kề, và đây cũng là lần chót mà ta xén tỉa vườn cây của ta” (Gia Cốp 5:61–62).

22. 5 And it speaketh aharshly against sin, according to the bplainness of the truth; wherefore, no man will be angry at the words which I have written save he shall be of the spirit of the devil.

5 Và những lời ấy lên án agay gắt các tội lỗi, dựa trên bsự minh bạch của lẽ thật; vậy nên, chẳng có người nào tức giận về những lời tôi đã viết ra, ngoại trừ những kẻ có linh hồn của quỷ dữ.

23. 18 Wherefore, I the Lord God will send forth aflies upon the face of the earth, which shall take hold of the inhabitants thereof, and shall eat their flesh, and shall cause maggots to come in upon them;

18 Vậy nên, ta là Đức Chúa Trời sẽ khiến những đàn ruồi bay xuống mặt đất để bám lấy những dân cư ở đó, và ăn thịt chúng, và làm nẩy sinh ra giòi bọ trong thân thể chúng;

24. If we keep our focus on the Lord, we are promised a blessing beyond comparison: “Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men.

Nếu tiếp tục tập trung vào Chúa, thì chúng ta được hứa một phước lành không thể so sánh được: “Vậy nên, các người phải tiến tới với một sự trì chí trong Đấng Ky Tô, với một niềm hy vọng hết sức sán lạn, và với tình yêu thương Thượng Đế và mọi người.

25. 9 aYea, the kings of the Gentiles shall be nursing fathers unto them, and their queens shall become nursing mothers; wherefore, the bpromises of the Lord are great unto the Gentiles, for he hath spoken it, and who can dispute?

9 aPhải, các vua của Dân Ngoại sẽ là dưỡng phụ của họ và các hoàng hậu sẽ là dưỡng mẫu của họ; vậy nên, bnhững lời hứa của Chúa với người Dân Ngoại rất lớn lao, vì một khi Ngài đã phán vậy thì ai dám bàn cãi?

26. * Nephi had “great desires to know of the mysteries of God, wherefore, [he] did cry unto the Lord,” and his heart was softened.2 On the other hand, Laman and Lemuel were distant from God—they did not know Him.

* Nê Phi có “khát vọng lớn lao muốn biết về những điều kín nhiệm của Thượng Đế, vậy nên tôi đã kêu cầu Chúa” và lòng ông đã được xoa dịu.2 Trái lại, La Man và Lê Mu Ên xa rời Thượng Đế---họ không biết Ngài.

27. 34 And the servant said unto his master: Behold, because thou didst graft in the branches of the wild olive tree they have nourished the roots, that they are alive and they have not perished; wherefore thou beholdest that they are yet good.

34 Người tôi tớ bèn thưa với chủ mình rằng: Này, vì Ngài đã ghép những cành cây ô liu dại vào cây này để nó nuôi dưỡng những rễ cây ấy sống và không chết; nhờ thế mà Ngài thấy nó vẫn được tươi tốt.

28. 6 Wherefore, verily I say, let the wicked take heed, and let the arebellious bfear and tremble; and let the unbelieving hold their lips, for the cday of wrath shall come upon them as a dwhirlwind, and all flesh shall eknow that I am God.

6 Vậy nên, thật vậy ta nói, những kẻ tà ác phải coi chừng, và những kẻ phản loạn phải sợ hãi và run rẩy; và những kẻ chẳng tin phải câm miệng lại, vì angày thịnh nộ sẽ đến với chúng như bcơn gió lốc, và mọi xác thịt sẽ cbiết rằng ta là Thượng Đế.

29. 22 And the Lord of the vineyard said unto him: Counsel me not; I knew that it was a poor spot of ground; wherefore, I said unto thee, I have nourished it this long time, and thou beholdest that it hath brought forth much fruit.

22 Chúa vườn bèn nói với hắn: Chớ khuyên dạy ta; ta biết nơi đây là phần đất xấu, vậy nên ta đã bảo ngươi rằng: Ta đã chăm bón nó trong suốt thời gian dài qua, và như ngươi đã thấy, nay nó đã kết nhiều trái.

30. 22 And now Cohor had a son who was called Nimrod; and Nimrod gave up the kingdom of Cohor unto Shule, and he did gain favor in the eyes of Shule; wherefore Shule did bestow great favors upon him, and he did do in the kingdom of Shule according to his desires.

22 Và bấy giờ Cô Ho có người con trai tên là Nim Rốt; và Nim Rốt chịu nhường vương quốc của Cô Ho cho Su Lê, và ông này được Su Lê ưu đãi, ban cho nhiều ơn huệ lớn lao; và ông ta có quyền làm theo ý thích của mình trong vương quốc của Su Lê.

31. 11 And the Lord of the vineyard caused that it should be digged about, and pruned, and nourished, saying unto his servant: It grieveth me that I should lose this tree; wherefore, that perhaps I might preserve the roots thereof that they perish not, that I might preserve them unto myself, I have done this thing.

11 Và Chúa vườn bảo phải vun xới, tỉa xén và chăm bón cho cây. Ông bảo tôi tớ ông rằng: Ta rất đau buồn nếu phải mất cây này, vậy nên, để may ra có thể gìn giữ những rễ cây này khỏi chết ngõ hầu ta có thể bảo tồn những rễ ấy cho riêng ta, mà ta đã làm vậy.

32. 21 And it came to pass that the Lord said unto the brother of Jared: Behold, thou shalt not suffer these things which ye have seen and heard to go forth unto the world, until the atime cometh that I shall glorify my name in the flesh; wherefore, ye shall btreasure up the things which ye have seen and heard, and show it to no man.

21 Và chuyện rằng, Chúa phán cùng anh của Gia Rết rằng: Này, ngươi không được để cho những điều ngươi nghe thấy loan truyền ra trong thế gian, cho ađến lúc mà ta được vinh danh trong xác thịt; vậy nên ngươi phải giữ kín những điều ngươi đã thấy và nghe, và không được cho một ai trông thấy.
