1. With an abiding testimony of this principle, President Woodruff frequently began his conference addresses by expressing a desire to teach by the power of the Holy Ghost.

2. In 1835 Wilford Woodruff began his first journal, “believing it to be beneficial to review our past life and not only our privilege but duty to keep an accurate account of our proceedings.”

3. President Woodruff found the First Presidency’s secretary, George Gibbs, and the two walked into a room adjoining the First Presidency’s office, where the Church President dictated his thoughts while Gibbs took them down.

우드럽 회장은 제일회장단 비서인 조지 깁스를 불러 함께 제일회장단 사무실과 연결된 방으로 들어갔다. 그곳은 교회 회장이 생각한 바를 불러 주면 깁스가 그대로 받아 적는 일을 하는 곳이었다.
