유엔 인권이사회의 2015년 12월 특별 회기에 채택된 부룬디 사태와 관련한 결의안은 유엔 인권최고대표에게 ‘기존 독립 전문가’ 팀을 임명해 인권침해 책임규명을 보장하고 기타 국제 및 지역 단체와 함께 ‘보완 및 조정’을 하면서 일하는것을 포함하는 구체적인 임무를 부여하라고 요구했다.
