9. Ministry of Earth Sciences is carrying out Survey & Exploration, Environmental Impact Assessment, Technology Development (Mining and Extractive Metallurgy) under polymetallic nodules program through various national institutes viz.

बहुधात्विक पिंड के अन्वेषण के तहत पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय सर्वेक्षण और अन्वेषण, पर्यावरणीय प्रभाव मूल्यांकन करता है।

10. Among the insect - borne diseases of man the most important are the malarial and yellow fevers , sleeping sickness , filariasis , bubonic plague , typhus , typhoid , cholera , dysentery , diarrhoea , myasis , oriental sore , sandfly fever and other tropical diseases .

कीटों द्वारा फैलाए जाने वाले रोगों में मलेरिया , पीत ज्वर , निद्रा रोग फाइलेरियता गिल्टी प्लेग , टाइफस , टायफॉइड , हैजा , पेचिश , प्रवाहिका ( दस्त ) , मक्षिकता , प्राच्य व्रण , सिकता मक्षी ज्वर तथा अन्य उष्णकटिबंधीय रोग महत्वपूर्ण हैं .

11. It then says: “Several other diseases have also been reported to be transmitted by blood transfusion, including herpes virus infections, infectious mononucleosis (Epstein-Barr virus), toxoplasmosis, trypanosomiasis [African sleeping sickness and Chagas’ disease], leishmaniasis, brucellosis [undulant fever], typhus, filariasis, measles, salmonellosis, and Colorado tick fever.”

उसमें आगे कहा गया: “रक्त-आधानों से अन्य कई रोगों के हस्तांतरित होने की सूचना मिली है, जिनमें परिसर्प (हर्पीज़) वाइरस संक्रमण, संक्रामक मोनोन्युक्लिओसिस (एपस्टाइन-बार वाइरस), टॉक्सोप्लाज़्मोसिस (मस्तिष्क और आँखों का संक्रामक रोग), ट्रिपनोसोमिअॅसिस [अफ्रीकी निद्रित रोग और शागास रोग], लीशमैनिअॅसिस (काला आज़ार), ब्रूसेल्लोसिस [तरंगित ज्वर], टाइफस (तंद्रिक ज्वर), फ़ाइलेरिया रोग, खसरा, साल्मोनेल्लोसिस तथा कोलोरॅडो चीचड़ी ज्वर।”
