1. 8 And Alma said: If thou believest in the redemption of Christ thou canst be ahealed.

3. 15 Blessed art thou, Alma, and blessed are they who were baptized in the awaters of Mormon.

4. 3 But when thou doest alms let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth;

6. 17 But Ammon stood forth and said unto him: Behold, thou shalt not slay thy son; nevertheless, it were abetter that he should fall than thee, for behold, he has brepented of his sins; but if thou shouldst fall at this time, in thine anger, thy soul could not be saved.

7. Lucaris answers: “We are taught by the Divine and Sacred Scriptures, which say plainly, ‘Thou shalt not make to thyself an idol, or a likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath; thou shalt not adore them, nor shalt thou worship them; [Exodus 20:4, 5]’ since we ought to worship, not the creature, but only the Creator and Maker of the heaven and of the earth, and Him only to adore. . . .

8. 33 Wilt thou grant unto them that they may have strength, that they may abear their afflictions which shall come upon them because of the iniquities of this people.

33 क्या तुम ऐसा होने दोगे कि इन्हें भी बल प्राप्त हो सके, ताकि इन लोगों के अन्याय के कारण इन पर आई हुई परेशानियों को ये सह सकें ।

9. Therefore, go with me into my house and I will impart unto thee of my bfood; and I know that thou wilt be a blessing unto me and my house.

इसलिए, मेरे साथ मेरे घर चलो और मैं तुम्हें अपना भोजन दूंगा; और मैं जानता हूं कि तुम मेरे और मेरे घर के लिए आशीष बनोगे ।

10. It is this realisation of the Absolute , sweeping away the distinction between ' I ' and ' Thou ' which is the central idea in the religious philosophy of the Hindus and which is to them the ultimate moral value .

11. 14 Therefore thou art condemned to adie, according to the blaw which has been given us by Mosiah, our last king; and it has been cacknowledged by this people; therefore this people must dabide by the law.

12. 26 And he lifted up his voice to heaven, and acried, saying: O, how long, O Lord, wilt thou suffer that thy servants shall dwell here below in the flesh, to behold such gross wickedness among the children of men?

13. 2 And it came to pass in the nineteenth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi, that Alma came unto his son Helaman and said unto him: Believest thou the words which I spake unto thee concerning those arecords which have been kept?

14. 36 Yea, and acry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy bdoings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy cthoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.

36 हां, और अपनी सहायता के लिए परमेश्वर को पुकारो; हां, तुम्हारे सारे कार्य प्रभु के लिए हों, और जहां कहीं भी तुम जाओ इसे प्रभु में होने दो; हां, अपने सारे विचार को प्रभु के प्रति निर्देशित होने दो; हां, अपने हृदय का स्नेह सदा के लिए प्रभु पर लगाए रखो ।
