17. In response to my appeal, King Abdullah II expressed willingness to enter into long-term arrangements for supply of phosphates to India from Jordan and as well as establish more JVs to meet demand of phosphoric acid, rock phosphate and DAP.

इस समझौता ज्ञापन का उद्देश्य भारत में 100% खरीदारी के दीर्घकालिक समझौते के साथ फास्फोरिक एसिड/डीएपी/एनपीके उर्वरकों के लिए रॉक फॉस्फेट के खनन और लाभकारिता के लिए जॉर्डन में उत्पादन इकाई स्थापित करना है।

19. That is a huge dependence and I think it will help us if our companies could look at it in terms of taking more of the phosphates or producing phosphoric acid here and taking it back, because we will perennially remain dependent on phosphatic fertilisers on outside sources.

21. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Jordan for mining and beneficiation of Rock Phosphate & MOP and setting up production facility in Jordan for Phosphoric Acid/DAP/NPK Fertilizerswith a long term agreement for 100% off-take to India.

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने रॉक फॉस्फेट एवं एमओपी के खनन तथा परिष्करण और भारत में शत-प्रतिशत उठाव के लिए एक दीर्घकालिक समझौते के साथ फॉस्फोरिक एसिड/डीएपी/एनपीके उर्वरकों हेतु जॉर्डन में उत्पादन इकाई लगाने के लिए भारत और जॉर्डन के बीच एक सहमति पत्र (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किये जाने को मंजूरी दे दी है।

22. A consortium of Indian consultants (MECON, PDIL, and RITES) will prepare a study report for the proposed enhancement of production of rock phosphate, augmentation of associated infrastructure facilities such as power plant, strengthening and modernizing of rail network, port facilities etc. and setting up of Phosphatic fertilizer complex in Syria for producing Di Ammonium Phosphate, Triple Super Phosphate, Di Calcium Phosphate, Phosphoric Acid and Sulphuric Acid.

भारतीय परामर्शदाता संघ (मेकॉन, पीडीआईएल और राइट्स) डाई अमोनियम फॉस्फेट, ट्रिपल सुपर फॉस्फेट, डाई केल्शियम फॉस्फेट, फास्फोरिक एसिड और सलफ्यूरिक एसिड का उत्पादन करने के लिए, सीरिया में रॉक फॉस्फेट के उत्पादन में प्रस्तावित वृद्धि, विद्युत संयत्र जैसी संबद्ध आधारभूत सुविधाओं के विस्तार, रेल नेटवर्क, पत्तन सुविधाओं आदि के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं आधुनिकीकरण और फॉस्फेटिक उर्वरक परिसर की स्थापना के लिए अध्ययन रिपोर्ट तैयार करेगा ।
