भारत और अफ्रीका के बीच राजनीतिक समानता और एकता की मजबूत भावना कई दशकों से हैं जब भारत और अफ्रीका के लोग औपनिवेशिक शासन से स्वतंत्रता हासिल करने के लिए और अपनी नियति की पैरोकार बनने के लिए एक निरंतर संघर्ष में लगे हुए थे।

76. In fact , after the initial expansion during the First Plan period when output of cloth increased from 3,400 million metres to 4,665 million metres , it stagnated at that level in the Second Plan period and actually declined through the following two decades and more .
