41. We agree to promote maritime cooperation, including through engagement in the ASEAN Maritime Forum (AMF) and its expanded format, to address common challenges on maritime issues, including sea piracy, search and rescue at sea, maritime environment, maritime security, maritime connectivity, freedom of navigation, fisheries, and other areas of cooperation.

हम समुद्री जल दस्युता, समुद्र में तलाशी एवं बचाव, समुद्री पर्यावरण, समुद्री सुरक्षा, समुद्री संयोजकता, नौवहन की आजादी, मत्स्यकी तथा सहयोग के अन्य क्षेत्रों समेत समुद्र से जुड़े मुद्दों पर साझी चुनौतियों का समाधान करने के लिए आसियान समुद्री मंच (ए एम एफ) तथा इसके विस्तारित प्रारूप में भागीदारी के माध्यम सहित समुद्री सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सहमत हैं।

42. The Meeting agreed to promote maritime cooperation including through engagement in the ASEAN Maritime Forum (AMF) and its expanded format to address common challenges on maritime issues, sea piracy, search and rescue at sea, maritime environment, maritime security, maritime connectivity, freedom of navigation, fisheries and other areas of cooperation.

बैठक में आसियान समुद्री मंच (ए एम एफ) एवं इसके विस्तारित प्रारूप में भागीदारी सहित समुद्री सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने पर सहमति हुई ताकि समुद्री मुद्दों, जल दस्युता, समुद्र में तलाशी एवं बचाव, समुद्री पर्यावरण, समुद्री सुरक्षा, समुद्री संयोजकता, नौवहन की आजादी, मछली पालन तथा सहयोग के अन्य क्षेत्रों से संबंधित साझी चुनौतियों का सामना किया जा सके।

43. It is very important that at a time when we face piracy in the Gulf of Aden and beyond actually, which I am very much pleased that the UAE and India are working very closely on, its key where we can resolve the source of this problem which is the lack of government, of unity, of the void that has been created in Somalia.

यह अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है कि आज जब अदन की खाड़ी और वस्तुत: आगे भी जल दस्युता की समस्या है और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और भारत इस संबंध में मिलकर कार्य भी कर रहे हैं, तो मैं समझता हूं कि हमें सोमालिया में इस संबंध में अभिशासन और एकता की कमी तथा वहां सृजित हुए निर्वात की स्थिति से उत्पन्न समस्या का भी समाधान करना चाहिए।
