2. The Iron and Steel ( major ) Panel , 1946 , suggested that the steel prices , instead of being related to prices of imported steel , should be based on internal cost of production , including a liberal allowance for depreciation , and an adequate return on investment to enable the industry to be efficient and to attract sufficient capital for expansion .

आयरन एंड स्टील ( मेजर ) पैनल 1946 ने सुझाव दिया कि इस्पात की कीमतें , आयातित इस्पात की कीमतें , आयातित इस्पात की कीमतों से संबंधित करने की लागत मूल्य पर आधारित होनी चाहिए . इसमें अवमूल्यन की अच्छी छूट तथा निवेश पर पर्याप्त लाभ भी शामिल हो जिससे उद्योग की क्षमता ठीक रहे तथा विस्तार के लिए अच्छी खासी पूंजी मिल सके .
