1. As demonstrated with the model system of cultured human lymphoblasts the cytostatic effect of amethopterine (Methotrexate®) can be overcome by methyl-tetrahydrofolic acid.

Am Modell einer menschlichen Lymphoblastenkultur wird demonstriert, daß die zytostatische Wirkung von Methotrexat® durch Methyl-Tetrahydrofolsäure aufgehoben werden kann.

2. The results indicate that 5-formyl-tetrahydrofolic acid given in the tested form has nearly the same bioavailability (ratio: 1.02) as folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid) in aqueous solution.

Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daß die exemplarisch eingesetzte Testsubstanz, 5-Formyl-Tetrahydrofolsäure, eine sehr gute Bioverfügbarkeit aufweist und daß unter Anwendung der beschriebenen Rahmenbedingungen eine objektive Bewertung der Bioverfügbarkeit möglich ist.
