3. The president of the court, Sir Isaac Coffin, wrote to the Admiralty and made several serious accusations against Bligh, including that he had influenced the officers to testify against Short.

4. The AIT lodged an appeal against that order, which the President of the Court of Justice, sitting in an interlocutory capacity, dismissed by Order of 30 September 2003 in Case C‐348/03 P(R) AIT v Commission (not published in the ECR).
