Regarding the colon, a disturbance in the electromechanical characteristics was found in irritable bowel syndrome, bacterial overgrowth in the small bowel, chronic constipation, and idiopathic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, which is probably identical with the clinical picture of adynamic ileus.

Veränderungen der elektromechanischen Charakteristika des Kolons wurden beim „irritable bowel syndrome“, der bakteriellen Überwucherung des Dünndarms, der chronischen Obstipation, der intestinalen idiopathischen Pseudoobstruktion, welche wahrscheinlich mit dem Krankheitsbild des adynamen Ileus identisch ist, aufgedeckt.

71. Reconstruction of the intrahepatic biliary tree in all patients was carried out by mucosa-to-mucosa intrahepatic cholangiojejunostomies between segmental hepatic ducts and a Roux-Y jejunal loop with only temporary use of anastomotic tubes. 5 patients died, 2 group-A patients (2/27) and 3 of the 18 group-B patients.

74. Conclusion: The combination of thrombocytopenia and recurrent angioblastic bleeding of the colon has not yet been described. A more sophisticated search for the cause of the bleeding was thus hindered, as the thrombocytopenia was misinterpreted to be more the reason for than the result of the recurrent bleeding episodes

Schlussfolgerung: Die bisher nicht beschriebene Kombination einer rezidivierend blutenden Angidysplasie des Kolon mit einer Thrombozytopenie hat im vorliegenden Fall wahrscheinlich eine frühere und hartnäckigere Suche nach der eigentlichen Blutungsquelle beeinträchtigt, da die Interpretation der Thrombopenie zumindest teilweise als Symptom im Sinne einer Verbrauchsthrombopenie bei chronischer Blutung nur unzureichend Berücksichtigung fand.

75. Thirty patients with no history of renal or hepatic disease and with an anticipated duration of anaesthesia of at least 3 h were studied in an open, prospective, randomised clinical trial. Anaesthesia was induced with fentanyl, thiopentone, and vecuronium for facilitating endotracheal intubation. Anaesthesia was maintained with sevoflurane or enflurane, 60% nitrous oxide in oxygen, and additional doses of fentanyl.

In 144 pull-through-operations performed for anorectal-atresia, following complications were observed: pneumonia 11%, sepsis 8.3%, peritonitis 5%, bowel obstruction 5%, osteomyelitis 1%, retraction of the pulled-through colon 4%, anal stenosis 16%, secondary megacolon 9%, fistula relapse 8%, mucosal prolapse 4%. Recto-urethral, recto-vesical- and recto-vaginal fistula relapses are managed by interposition of the gracile muscle.

Thus the following were found: minimal recent autonomic nerve cell lesions in viral hepatitis in a child, reduced nervous lesions of the dystrophic and irritative type in viral hepatitis in adults with prevalent necrosis of the hepatic cells, intense autonomic nervous lesions in viral hepatitis associated with anterior gastritic processes, various associated autonomic nervous lesions of the acute and chronic type in recent necrotic hepatitis associated with older precirrhotic lesions and nervous lesions especially of the chronic type with intense ball-phenomenon and morphological changes of the synapses in liver cirrhosis.

So unterscheidet man: geringfügige bei einem Mädchen kürzlich bei Hepatitis epidemica aufgetretene neurovegetative Zellveränderungen, schwache Ganglienzellveränderungen von dystrophischem und irritativem Typus bei Hepatitis epidemica der Erwachsenen mit Vorherrschen der Leberepithelnekrosen, ausgeprägte neurovegetative Veränderungen bei frischer von vorausgehenden gastritischen Prozessen begleiteter Hepatitis, unterschiedliche vergesellschaftete Ganglienzellveränderungen von akutem und chronischem Typus bei frischer nekrotischer mit älteren zirrhogenen Veränderungen einhergehender Hepatitis, und Ganglienzellveränderungen vorherrschend von chronischem Typus mit ausgeprägtem Kugelphänomen und morphologischen Veränderungen der Synapsen bei Leberzirrhose.
