On filling the cavity (37), the matrix is dished between said edges (38) corresponding to the shape of the tooth such as to reproduce the original shape of the tooth with convex approximal surfaces and contact surfaces with adjacent teeth as well as the anatomical reconstruction of the boundary edge of the tooth.

Beim Füllen der Kavität (37) wird die Matrize zwischen den genannten Kanten (38) entsprechend der Zahnanatomie gewölbt und damit die ursprüngliche Zahnform mit konvexen Approximalflächen und Kontaktflächen zum Nachbarzahn sowie die anatomische Rekonstruktion der Randleiste des Zahns nachgebildet.
