본 발명은 주 흡수제로 3급 디알킬알칸올아민, 속도증진제로 2급 알칸올아민, 재생촉진제로 폴리알킬렌 글리콜 모노메틸 에테르가 포함된 수용액을 이산화탄소 흡수제로 사용하는 것에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 폴리알킬렌 글리콜 모노메틸 에테르를 포함하는 알칸올아민계 이산화탄소 흡수제와 이를 이용한 이산화탄소 흡수방법 및 분리방법은 이산화탄소 흡수능이 우수하고 이산화탄소 흡수속도가 빠를 뿐만 아니라 종래의 알칸올아민계 흡수제에 비해 흡수제 재생온도가 현저히 낮아 흡수 공정에 소요되는 전체 에너지 소비를 크게 줄일 수 있으며, 또한 낮은 재생온도로 인해 회수된 이산화탄소가 수분 및 흡수제 증기로 오염되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
